About

This page is a small collection of photos I took during a summer abroad in Japan. Photography isn't a field that align with professionally, but I want this page to be a place that I can always look back to and remember my time abroad. Who knows — maybe some day I'll get the oportunity to add more.

Broken Lens

My kit lens cracked on the plane ride over. It was pretty upsetting at first, but it produced a hazy look that I grew to love thoughout the trip. Limitation breeds creativity and resourcefulness and all that.

Bargain Hunting

I bought the cheapest used lens I could find in Tokyo. It's a TTArtisan 35mm. It has no frills, manual apature and focus, but it opens up to f1.4, which my (now broken) kit lens doesn't. All of the non blurry photos were taken with that.
